GPA Society Events
The first GPA Society event will provide an opportunity for all GPA Society members to learn lessons in technology, entertainment, and design from several successful engineers, including some of our own from Queen’s. In three separate talks ranging from January to April, members will have a chance to hear from young entrepreneurs and innovators who have made a unique path with their iron ring.
This intimate and interactive event will provide opportunities for GPA Society members, at all stages in their careers, to gain insight into what it takes to innovate and lead in our society.
QYEA GPA Society Event: GPA Society Gael's Den
The third and final GPA Society event will allow Level 3 GPA Society members to determine where the funds raised by the Society will be donated. All GPA Society members are invited as audience members, and are encouraged to come out and witness the tense atmosphere of teams and clubs vying for the top prize.
A series of presentations will be made by current Queen’s students and Faculty hoping to receive funding for their project - and it will be up to the Gaels to decide who wins!
The second GPA Society event will provide an opportunity for members to meet and interact with several alumni mentors in an executive coaching setting, in addition to appearances from some of QYEA’s 2014-15 Inspiring Alumni.
Take this opportunity to learn from the best, understand how you might want to shape your future and most importantly, ask questions, get advice, and make contacts! Open to Level 2 and 3 GPA Society members.
