The role of the 21 century engineering is changing.
More than half of Canada’s engineering graduates are employed in roles outside the profession of engineering as CEOs and policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs and researchers. Queen’s Engineering is developing a professional slate of courses — one of the first in the country — designed to prepare our students to innovate, problem-solve, and work in teams that cross disciplines and cultures.
Queen's Innovation Connector
Your investment will provide critical seed investments to plan and launch the Queen's Innovation Connector, a collaboration between Queen’s Engineering and Queen’s School of Business. We will endow a Chair in Innovation in Global Leadership to attract a top scholar, lead the program and bring focus to joint research efforts involving innovative ideas, inventions and commercialization.
Aboriginal Access to Engineering
Queen’s Engineering’s outreach program will inspire Aboriginal elementary students to develop an interest in math and science, promote the study of engineering, and help Aboriginal students succeed in engineering at Queen’s. Your gift will continue on-campus student support and expand outreach initiatives within Canada’s Aboriginal communities.
